Using Saidtree

Reading Saidtree is free and needs no account. Please don't try to disrupt the service, copy it at volume with automated tools, or get around its limits and checks.

Accounts

Accounts are for people 16 and over. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. You can download your data or delete your account at any time from Account.

No public posting

Saidtree has no comments, public posts, uploads or messages. Tips, links you send, reports and requests go to our editors and are never published. If we use a post you point us to, it appears as a branch with an editor's note, under its author's name as it appears on the platform, or as "a member of the public".

What we publish

• Trees show what public accounts posted. A tree's status describes what the voices we track have posted; it is never our verdict on whether a claim is true.
• AI-written summaries are labelled, cite the posts they came from and are checked against them, but they can still be wrong. Please report an error when you see one; we acknowledge reports within 24 hours and list every correction on Corrections.
• Titles are written by our editors or quoted word for word from a post. They are never written by AI.

Other people's posts

Posts belong to their authors. We show short excerpts with a link to the original, and Facebook, Instagram and Threads posts load through Meta's own embed only when you choose "Show post". If we use your work without permission, send a rights-holder notice; we handle notices within 24 hours.
